  • Ransomware group RansomHub claimed it is selling U.S. citizens’ medical and financial records following a cyberattack on Change Healthcare.

  • U.S. states decided to pass online children's safety laws and technology companies are resisting those efforts.

  • U.S. Sens. plans to introduce legislation to create a legislative framework establishing a licensing regime for deploying "advanced" artificial intelligence models.

  • The Colorado General Assembly approved an amendment to the Colorado Privacy Act for the protection of sensitive biometric and "neural data".
