  • The U.K. UTAAC dismissed the U.K. IC's Office appeal to overturn an order requiring Experian to change how it handles customer data.

  • The European Parliament approved a provisional agreement to create the European Health Data Space.

  • EU policymakers said it would not immediately consider addressing alleged TikTok issues following the passage of a U.S. law.

  • Switzerland's Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner published details on its investigation into online retailer Digitec Galaxus.

  • France's data protection authority, released information on Privacy Research Day 4 June, including panel topics and registration information.

   

AMERICAS

  • The CPPA would host state-wide consultations on proposed regulations concerning automated decision-making tech, risk assessments, and audits.

  • General Motors allegedly used its OnStar program to collect driving data from consumers without consent.

  • The Connecticut Senate advanced legislation to regulate artificial intelligence to House consideration.

   

ASIA PACIFIC and INDIA

  • Singapore's Cyber Security Agency released its response to feedback addressing the update of the Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill.

  • India’s new government planned to introduce an amendment to information technology rules under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

  • South Korea's PIPC and the Korea Internet and Security Agency launched a pilot program for a joint privacy-by-design certification.
